Memorandum of Understanding signed with SEWA
A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 20th November 2014 between Sharjah
Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), Al Ghandi Electronics and
Philips. This agreement is a first step to provide excellent lighting
solution, in line with the sustainability and green building strategy of
SEWA.
The aim is to replace inefficient conventional lighting in Sharjah
streets and buildings with energy-saving, environmentally-friendly
lighting through LED lighting solutions by Philips. The MoU signing
event was graced by the presence of Dr. Eng. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of
SEWA , as well as other dignitaries from SEWA. Al Ghandi Electronics
was represented by Mr. Krishna
