AL GHANDI ELECTRONICS SIGNS COMPLIANCE PLEDGE WITH MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

Al Ghandi Electronics has joined forces with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology by signing the Compliance Pledge. Eleven signatories, from among the leading e-commerce platforms and electronics distributors in the UAE, signed the Compliance Pledge in Dubai on 19th August 2024. H.E. Mr. Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry signed and acknowledged the Pledge on behalf of The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, with the presence of Dr. Farah Al Zarooni, Assistant Undersecretary for Standards & Regulations.

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology encourages both offline retailers and

e-commerce platforms to comply with all regulations pertaining to product safety and quality in the UAE. By signing this pledge, the distributors and  e-commerce platforms are committed to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality of the products sold online.

Mr. Joy Mathew, Assistant General Manager, signed the pledge on behalf of Al Ghandi Electronics. He noted : “At the heart of the regulatory efforts of the Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology (MOIAT) is the vision to provide high levels of product safety and quality standards for consumers in the UAE. This ties in with the sustainability goals and facilitates high levels in quality of life for the residents and visitors, as the UAE develops and progresses rapidly.
